Terms of service

The service

Quiznova lets teachers build quizzes, share them with a join code or a class, run them live or as homework, and see results. Students and guests take quizzes. We may improve or change features over time; if we remove something you pay for, we will tell you first.

Accounts

• Give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Students below the age of digital consent in their country need a parent or guardian's approval before using an account (see the privacy policy).
• Guests may take a quiz without an account using the name they choose; their answers are kept for 7 days after the quiz closes.
• You can delete your account at any time from Your account → Profile.

Plans, trials and billing

• Teachers get a free trial; publishing quizzes after the trial needs the Teacher plan. Student accounts are free, with leaderboards and progress stats included. Current prices are on the pricing page.
• Plans are billed yearly and renew automatically until you turn renewal off. You can turn it off any time in Your account → Membership; your plan then runs to the end of the period you paid for.
• Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
• Refunds follow our refund policy.
• If a renewal payment fails, your plan keeps working for a short grace period while payment is retried; after that paid features pause until payment succeeds. Your quizzes, classes and results are never deleted because a plan ended.

Your content

Quizzes, questions and pictures you create remain yours. You give us permission to store, process and display them to provide Quiznova to you and the people you share them with. Only upload what you have the right to use, and never include personal information about students in quiz content.

The question bank. You also give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, permanent licence to review the questions and pictures you create, and to copy, edit and include them in the Quiznova question bank and library, where other teachers can use them. We choose which questions to include; we don't name you or pay for them, and a copy we have made stays in the bank if you later change or delete your quiz or your account. Your own quiz is never changed. If you don't want a particular question considered, write to us and we will leave it out.

Public quizzes. If you make a quiz public in the quiz builder, other Quiznova teachers can see it (including its answers) and copy it for their own teaching. Your name, classes and results are not shared. You can make it private again at any time; copies already made stay with the teachers who made them.

Quizzes from the Quiznova library, the question bank or other teachers may be copied and adapted for your own teaching; they may not be resold or republished as a collection.

Acceptable use

• No content that is unlawful, hateful, bullying, sexual, violent or otherwise unsuitable for a school setting.
• No attempts to cheat scoring or leaderboards, access other people's data, overload the service or get around its limits.
• No automated sign-ups, spam or advertising.

Anyone can report a quiz from the quiz itself. We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules; where it is fair to, we will tell you why.

Availability and liability

We work hard to keep Quiznova available and accurate, with daily backups and monitoring, but it is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms; if a change materially affects you we will give notice on the site or by email before it applies. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes will be decided by the courts of India. Questions: contact@infoleen.in.
